1 hour agoFinance & AccountingMaster DCF valuations, M&A synergies, LBOs, and Capital Budgeting to ace your Private Equity & Finance interviews.
Course Description
Breaking into Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Corporate Finance is notoriously difficult. Interviewers don't want textbook definitions—they will hand you a scenario and ask you to evaluate a multi-crore transaction on the spot. If you don't know the difference between Free Cash Flow to the Firm (FCFF) and Free Cash Flow to Equity (FCFE), or how an earn-out provision affects a volatile acquisition, you will not get the job. The Investment Banking & Corporate Finance: Mock Interviews course is designed to test your modeling reflexes under pressure.
This course throws you into the analyst seat with four massive sets of rigorous, scenario-based financial case studies. You will face completely unique scenarios utilizing actual INR metrics. You will start by tackling DCF Valuations, calculating terminal values and adjusting WACC for unlevered tech startups. Next, you will move into Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), evaluating revenue synergies and modeling balance sheet adjustments for massive cash acquisitions.
The exams get progressively harder as you move into the buy-side. You will be tested on your ability to structure Leveraged Buyouts (LBOs), calculating the IRR for private equity sponsors exiting multi-crore investments. Finally, we cover internal Corporate FP&A, testing your grasp of Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Net Present Value (NPV) analysis. Every question features a detailed explanation to ensure you understand the math and the strategy behind the numbers.
