Master storage: persistent volumes, PVCs, CSI drivers, dynamic provisioning, backups, snapshots & troubleshooting
Course Description
This practice test course provides 1500 scenario-based questions focused on Kubernetes storage, backups, snapshots, and troubleshooting. It is designed for DevOps engineers, cloud administrators, and developers who manage stateful applications in Kubernetes clusters or prepare for CKA, CKAD, and CKS exams.
The course is organized into six sections, each with 250 questions:
Persistent Volumes (PVs) – Concepts, Types, and Lifecycle Management (250 questions): covers PV types (hostPath, NFS, iSCSI, Ceph, GlusterFS, cloud-native), access modes, reclaim policies, and static vs dynamic provisioning.
Persistent Volume Claims (PVCs) – Creation, Binding, and Usage (250 questions): details PVC requests, binding logic, resource quotas, storage expansion, and troubleshooting Pending claims.
Storage Classes and CSI Drivers – Dynamic Provisioning Basics (250 questions): explains StorageClass parameters, CSI plugins, volume binding modes, and topology-aware scheduling.
Dynamic Provisioning – Automation, Binding, and Troubleshooting (250 questions): explores automated provisioning workflows, CSI integration, error handling, and performance considerations.
Backups and Snapshots – Strategies, Tools, and Recovery (250 questions): focuses on VolumeSnapshots, VolumeSnapshotClass, disaster recovery, Velero, Kasten, restore procedures, and compliance.
Advanced Storage and Troubleshooting – Performance, StatefulSets, and Issues (250 questions): addresses StatefulSets, ephemeral volumes, mount errors, I/O tuning, bottleneck detection, and CSI debugging.
